    boxes
I can`t recall having moved house without some rather revolting crisis. The piano fell downstairs the time before the time before last. Loud but one of the less bothersome moves.

    not quite dead
I like waking up in IC you meet such intresting ( but slightly dead) people. The bloke next to me had fallen in a rather nasty industrial mixer, on the other side was a nice wrapped person, oddly not wrapped from the middle to his toes.
I focused on escape, what ninny had dumped me here? The local rubbish contractor. They decided they `had` to meet me to discuss the slight but important to them, problem that I don`t do the proper things to my rubbish. I phoned, I pointed out that I couldn`t get dressed/downstairs without help, I gave a graphic and detailed description of my propensity to pass out and pointed out that not only am I heavy to lift but a bit dozy when I come round. They took no notice, but they did offer me counselling.

    moving house
I don`t do moving house. Its traumatic. There is only one way to do it, find somewhere else to be ( the cupboard under the stairs , an expensive hotel, hospital) pay an extortionate ammount, give the movers diagrams ie put stuff from room A into room 1 at new house, and resign yourself to never finding your purple jumper.

If anything good comes from death, it is that people who you once knew well turn up for the funeral. How much better it would be to have your funeral before you died.

    banks
No one I can contact online understands english, nor do they on the phone. I suspect they regard my request for a cheque book to be so weird ( why can`t she use a card?) that it does not appear in phone training. The paper boy does not take cards, he still expects cash or a cheque.
On the same day I have been suspended from ebay. This should be better publicised so tell your friends, you buy something on ebay- a jacket for your baby say. It does not arrive, so after a while you write to the seller asking why? he refunds your money, but here`s the catch a week later he claims to have evidence that you got the jacket and so now he wants his refund back and more ( for his time etc). He starts to threaten you, he`ll have you suspended from ebay for claiming money back when you got the goods. He also writes to everybody you are buying from, if they are about to send money/goods he tells them not to, to contact him first. He then offers to share the money you have sent with them.
If they are female he starts with the filthy phone calls, I have stopped answering the phone as some psychotic looney telling me he is watching me and hes going to rip my cunt open is frankly getting boring. Then he sents parcels to you which have shit in them. Ebay meanwhile ignore you, you can email them but they do nothing . Neither do the police. The feedback system on ebay works fine if everybody plays nice, but just one nutter can really cause trouble, so publicise this tell your friends and yep I`ll give out the idiots email if anyone wants it. I have simply ignored him.

Gytha has died. She had cancer and it was not unexpected- just quick it seems. Is there anything to say to Richard who was with her for something like 20 years? nope nothing is going to help. I think I will go and live in a cave where I can imagine that everone I love is having a good time. Soddit.

    teenagers
Teenagers are babies share much in common. They expect the world to revolve around them, being totally self obsessed. They have no real idea of what they want only that they don`t have it and will make your life hell until they do. Generaly given warm milk/a car they are quiet and generally quite nice for a while. They should live togethe.

    parcelforce
I hate them , today I have spent forever on the phone- to a non live computer , which gives you hope by keeping you on the line then just gives a dial tone, to add to the problem it then blathers adverts about how good it is...

    packing
My kitchen is full of plastic bags, cardboard, rubber bands tiny bits of useless pointless stuff the only purpose of which seems to be to foil my attempts to open a parcel. I have ripped nails, sore fingers and a crumbling temper. when I find the bra it has stuck on it a wholoe load of useless information. A picture of a crosssed out triangle, er don`t wear if your bosom is too pointy? A picture of what looks like a dumper truck , this bra is for heavy loads? When I finally struggle into the thing having avoided strangling myself there is still one tiny itchy label...so I try to cut it off without taking the bra off. Disaster is not really the word for the problem of having cut part of your ear off, and having to explain why...

    Money
The source of much misery if nothing else. As long as I am not starving I really can`t see the point in adding to my wealth. I am quite happy making money and spending it on a school for girls in Peru, this leads to endless rows with family who are convinced that it is necessary to buy a dress, buy a house, save it ( what for?) Why on earth amass heaps of the stuff?

    venturing into cyberspace
Beth foolishly found my past- a friend of a friend...
    "you lived in a commune??"
    "Yep"
"you had sex behind a space invader machine at an SF con?"
"er no, more to one side really"
"you went on viking reenactments and fought?"
" sometimes, sometimes I got raped and pillaged"
"you wrote a play that started -good and evil fight for the domination of our souls- and had destiny as a hedgehog?"
"um yeah I think I did ,craddock bit my leg during that"
"you lentiled someone and the police locked up Paul?"( her oldest brother)
" well he pissed on my cooker"
"you pretended to be pregnant when your van exploded??"
    "well it was an emergency"
    "MUMMY!!!" small pause
" you got the law changed?"
"indirectly mainly because I had Paul when I was at school"
"o my god mummy, you were such a fucking moron"
"the `were` in the sentence is misplaced"
silence, .. she thought for a while
    "is there anything else Mum?"
odd that the phone line went down just then ,I`d been trying to pull it free for at least 5 minutes.

    prams
Prams have to be googled and admired, mine is a silver cross kensington ,in navy and I love it as much as oh the land rover.
    10:18 pm
    wheels
It is very odd that I have spent most of today fiddling with a wonky pram wheel. It won`t go up down in out back forwards click in and out like the other 3 wheels, it is in fact broken, died needs fixing. Yet throughout the day convinced it could be fixed I have gone back and repeated the in out up down etc, occasionally adding something incredibly daft like brown paper round the bit that should click, or adding some spit to the shaft. Nothing has worked its broke dammit. Yet I feel its allure even now, when I have an essay on modern British opera, and one on the technology of cities outstanding, the day book and book keeping need doing, la etc la so what I`ll do is just try the wheel with some WD40...
